I have an Irish award which I wish to get recognised abroad

Each country has the responsibility to assess international awards within its own jurisdiction. The relevant authority in the country where you are interested in obtaining recognition will be able to give you advice on the procedures for recognition of your award.

Whom you should contact depends on whether you hold a third level qualification or a further education and training qualification.

If you hold a third level award, you should contact the ENIC/NARIC office in the country where you wish to have it recognised. The following link will take you to the ENIC-NARIC ( www.enic-naric.net) website. The names and contact details of our colleagues in many countries are available on this site.

The NRP offices exist throughout Europe. If you hold a further education and training award, you should contact the NRP office in the appropriate country. The following document states the contact details of each National Reference Point in a number of countries.
